Privacy and Data
The calculators on this site run in your browser, and the numbers you type into them are never sent to a server.
Calculators and your numbers
Every calculator on the site runs in the browser, and the figures you enter stay on your device. Position size, margin and pip value are worked out locally in the page, so a lot size or a reference price you type is never transmitted to the desk or stored on a server.
That design is deliberate: a reader checking what a 0.10-lot gold position needs in margin should not have to hand over a trading plan to do it. The arithmetic, including the about $85.50 margin figure at the applicable cap, is done on your side and discarded when you close the page.
Traffic counts and local storage
The site keeps aggregate traffic counts, meaning totals such as how many pages were viewed, not a profile of an individual reader. These counts are used to see which explanations are read and which are not, and they are not used to build a picture of any one person.
Local storage in your browser holds only your own preferences, such as a setting you chose on a calculator. That data sits on your device, is readable by your browser, and is not a record the desk keeps about you. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
Broker cookies and your relationship
A broker you reach through a link on this site sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy, and those are outside the desk's control. When you click through to open or fund an account, the broker becomes the party handling your data, including anything tied to a GCash or bank transfer.
Read the broker's privacy policy before submitting personal or financial details, because the desk cannot see, change or delete what a broker holds. The desk's own pages keep the data footprint small for that reason, and the affiliate disclosure on each link explains the referral relationship in plain terms.
What This Site Stores and What It Does Not
This site stores only the data needed to keep the calculators working and to understand which pages are read. It does not store your name, email address, phone number, or any government ID. Anything you type into a calculator stays on your device unless you choose to share it. The site does not build a profile of you across other websites and does not sell any information to third parties. If you never submit a form, the site never receives an identity tied to your visit.
What the site does not store is as important as what it does. It does not keep your GCash number, bank account details, or any funding information because those steps happen on the broker's own platform, not here. It does not store trading positions, order history, or account balances. It does not keep a copy of the numbers you type into the pip value or margin calculators. The only lasting record is aggregated, non-identifying page-view counts used to see which guides are useful.
The site stores a small amount of technical data that your browser sends with every request: the page you asked for, the time of the request, and a truncated version of your IP address used only for coarse country-level counting. It does not store the full IP address alongside anything that could identify you. It does not store device fingerprints, advertising IDs, or cross-site identifiers. Any storage that does happen is limited to what is described in the cookie section below, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Cookies and What Each Kind Is For
This site uses three kinds of cookies, and each has a single job. Strictly necessary cookies keep the page working, for example by remembering that you have already dismissed a notice. Analytics cookies count visits so the site knows which pages are read. Affiliate cookies record that a broker link was followed so the broker can credit the referral. There are no advertising cookies, no social media cookies, and no cookies that follow you to other sites. You can block any of them in your browser, though blocking the necessary ones may break parts of the page.
The strictly necessary cookies do not identify you and expire when you close the browser or within a short fixed period. Analytics cookies are set by the site's own counting tool where possible, and where a third-party tool is used it is configured to anonymise the last part of the IP address. Affiliate cookies are set only after you click a link to a broker and are read only by that broker's tracking system. None of these cookies contain your name, your calculator inputs, or any funding details.
You control cookies through your browser, not through this site. Every major browser lets you see what is stored, delete individual cookies, and block third-party cookies entirely. Clearing cookies removes the affiliate cookie as well, which means a broker may not be able to link a later account to this site, but it does not affect your trading account or your funds. The site does not use cookie walls that force you to accept tracking before reading a page.
Affiliate Tracking Stated Plainly
This site earns money when a reader follows a link to FxPro and later opens a funded account. That is affiliate tracking, and it is stated here without euphemism. The link carries a referral code so the broker knows the visit came from this site. The broker pays a referral fee; you do not pay more, and the fee does not change the spread, commission, or swap on your account. The referral does not give this site access to your account, your trades, or your balance.
Affiliate tracking records that a click happened and, if you register, that the registration is linked to that click. It does not record what you type into the broker's forms, how much you deposit, or how you trade. The broker's own privacy policy governs what the broker does with your account data, and this site never receives that data. The referral code is not used to set your leverage, your funding method, or any term of your account.
You can avoid affiliate tracking entirely by navigating to the broker directly instead of through a link on this site. Doing so does not change what you can read here, and no page is locked behind a link. The site does not hide affiliate links or disguise them as ordinary editorial links. Where a link is an affiliate link, it is a link to a broker and it is treated as one. The editorial content is written to be useful whether or not you ever click.
The Third Parties That Touch Your Visit
Three kinds of third party are involved in a visit to this site: the web host that serves the pages, the analytics tool that counts visits, and the broker whose link you may follow. The host processes the request and may keep short-lived server logs for security. The analytics tool receives a page address and a truncated IP address. The broker receives the click and, if you register, the account details you give it. No other third party receives data from this site.
The broker is the only third party that will hold identifying information about you, and only if you choose to open an account. FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC - not by the SEC of the Philippines, so the broker's own privacy terms and regulator rules apply to your account data, not this site's policy. This site does not pass your calculator inputs, your email address, or your funding details to the broker or to anyone else.
The analytics tool is configured to avoid identifying individuals: it does not receive your name, your calculator inputs, or your full IP address. The web host's logs are used for uptime and abuse prevention and are not combined with any other data. No third party is given permission to use data from this site for its own advertising. If a third party's role changes, this policy is updated before the change takes effect, as described in the final section.
Your Rights Over Data and How to Use Them
You have the right to ask what data this site holds about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. In practice the site holds almost nothing that identifies you, so most requests will return an empty result. You can still make the request, and you will get a clear answer. You also have the right to object to analytics counting and to withdraw any consent you have given, and doing so will not reduce what you can read on the site.
To use these rights, clear the cookies in your browser first, then contact the site through the contact route published on the site. State what you are asking for: access, correction, deletion, or objection. Because the site does not collect names or email addresses through calculators, a request may need the approximate date and page you visited so the server logs can be checked. The site will respond within a reasonable period and will explain if it holds nothing matching.
Rights over data held by the broker are separate and must be sent to the broker, not to this site. FxPro holds your account, identity, and funding data, and its own privacy terms set out how to exercise access, correction, and deletion there. The regulator caveat applies: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC - not by the SEC of the Philippines, so the broker's complaints and data-protection routes follow its licence, not Philippine SEC rules.
How Long Data Is Kept and What Deletes It
Server logs are kept for a short fixed period for security and uptime checks, then deleted automatically. Analytics counts are aggregated and kept without any identifier, so there is no personal record to expire. The affiliate cookie expires on its own after a set period or when you clear cookies. Nothing on this site is kept indefinitely in a form that could be tied back to you, and there is no archive of past calculator inputs because those inputs never leave your browser.
Deletion happens in three ways: automatic expiry of logs and cookies, your own browser clearing cookies and site data, and a request to the site for deletion of anything that might remain. Clearing cookies in your browser is immediate and needs no request. If you ask the site to delete data, it will confirm what was found and what was removed. Because the site does not store calculator inputs or funding details, those cannot be deleted because they were never kept.
The broker keeps account data for as long as its own rules require, and that period is set by the broker and its regulator, not by this site. This site cannot delete data held by FxPro, and a request sent here will be redirected to the broker. The only lasting trace of an affiliate click is the referral record held by the broker, which is governed by the broker's retention terms. This site's own retention is short and is described above without a number because it depends on the host's log rotation settings.
